Here’s a list of everything you need in your speaker media kit to get booked more

When do you put together a Speaker Media Kit? Before you need it!
But I don’t have any media yet. It’s time to get some!

If you know what you need, you can go out and get it. Here is a list of items that you can include and build as you grow. These are items that you can also go on the media page of your website. Meeting planners should be able to easily download these items from your media page. A press kit can be electronic (pdf file), or be printed, placed in a classy folder with a logo, photo of graphic on the front. The pdf should also have an attractive cover page.

It is important to match the colors, fonts, design and theme of your brand, so there is continuity in this part of your marketing material.

I would recommend that you not print too many copies of your media kit, because most promoters ask for the electronic version. It is costly to print and mail, and there will be a delay in them getting your information. I have found that promoters need to make a thoughtful, but quick decision on who they will feature at their next event or conference and having your information ready at the click of a button is invaluable. He (or she) who gets their info to the promoter first has a better chance of getting chosen to present.
